This game seems to be the continuation of the original metal slug game and this game is title metal slug rampage 2. You are marco and you have to ride the metal slug and blow up your enemies.
You are sent off (teleported) to a desert because you did not surrender your weapon to the united nations. If you have played metal slug then you will surely play this game easily. Just go forward and shoot down your enemies using your high-tech weapon. Destroy the enemies, their helicopters and their tanks in order to complete this game.
